I know quite of few of you busters are in college...My internet connection in my dorm room is insanely slow (varies between 150 and 900k downstream) and it's really pissing me off. I can't play Battlefield 2 or any other game online without pings in the 300s. Downloading files is also a huge pain. Anyone else had this problem...if so what did you do?

900k download? if you mean kilobytes per second, then that's pretty damn good, if you meant kilobits, it's not so good, but not unbearably bad...150kBps isn't that bad either, and so far as i know (tried a few things that never worked) you just deal with it, no way to make it better. Sucks about your ping spikes though...maybe they'll get better after a few days of classes when people make friends and aren't just on their computers all the time.

my friend at tufts in massachussets gets like 1.5-2 MEGAbytes/sec. i think princeton gets about that. makes for good download times. i leave friday, and will soon have high speed internet. yay.

It depends on how many swastikas you have.

I have none actually. I'm more partial to the SS. As such, I have the the double Sig rune as well as the Totenkopf "Death's Head" insignias. I also call myself "Reichsführer-SS The JediPunk" and play as a German (whenever possible) on Call of Duty.

that's lame. as a joke, fine, whatever. but it's still a derogatory label which, to me, connotes someone who loves and embraces japanese culture to the point they believe japanese culture is better. liking one band does not necessarily qualify.

I personally think Japanese music and visual arts are superior. I escape being wapanese under terra's definition, lol, though, because I don't necessarily like other parts of the culture.
