so, is it just me, or does this series rock? zero kicks ass. he has a sword, he kills things, and he's a "repliroid." i beat 1 and 2, and am now playing 3. i played a bit of 4 today too because i think the "zero gauntlet" thing is freaking awesome. you tear up your enemies and use their parts for weapons...

Yeah i loved these games, I'm not liking the newer style rockmans....

I played the first one. It was fun, but sometimes incredibly hard.

as always with capcom games damn it. they never make an easy game!

that's a good thing though. the only trouble is finding the balance. if it's too easy, people will stop playing in disgust. if it's too hard, well, the same thing happens. i think capcom is really good about finding that middle ground: easy enough to get you hooked at first, but hard enough to keep you coming back.

I'm really looking foward to ZX for the DS. Those Zero series games look pretty good too, a much better looking choice than the battle network stuff.

not just better-looking. the battle network series is horrible. the battles are lame. i hate those games. rockman zero carries on what rockman x started: pure badass-ness.

The X series was the best but Zero is pretty close to it. One of the best things about zero to me was that it had the same feel as the X series but was still unique.

plus zero wields a sword. that's worth AT LEAST five points.

I love Mega Man. I had Mega Man Zero for a while, but sold it because I was getting super frustrated (trying for A/S-ranks is just ridiculous).. I bought Mega Man Zero 4, which was much earier, and enjoyed it thoroughly.

Nothing beats the original Mega Man series, though. Even Mega Man & Bass ruled.

in rockman and forte, rock was a pansy with no distance jumping abilities. that's easily the worst game in the series.

in zero, s is the best level? i got those a lot and thought "HOW THE FUCK DID I SUCK THIS BADLY?!!!"

Yeah, Mega Man's weak jumps were a real pain, but he made the boss fights far easier. I definitely disagree that it was the worst game in the original series.. but I would say it's probably one of the most difficult.

the jumping had to be the worst thing ever. it made the game five times harder, at parts, than it should have been. i suppose calling it the worst game in the series is over-exaggerating, but i really dislike that one. ^__^
