laptops are much much much more expensive, and barely upgradable. Also is unwise to overclock the cpu or gpu on a laptop because they're so small and generate a lot of heat. generally a slower gpu in them also, due to size constraints. basically i'm saying don't get a laptop if you aren't really going to take it anywhere/play a lot of new PC games. |

If you are going from point A to point B a lot (i.e. home/college), get the laptop. 99.9% of all PC users will not need the shit that is put into some of these machines. A decent laptop SHOULD have everything you need. However, if you are hard into movie editing, graphic design, or are a little bitch when it comes to computer gaming, then by all means, get an elite desktop. |
