I've played all four of these games.

DDR: LOVE IT. I'm pretty good at it, too.
Dancemania: I also enjoy this. Good way to cool off after playing DDR, and to wave your hands around like a fool.
Drummania: The only one I've played is the 1st mix... and I wasn't impressed. The timing windows are pieces of shit.
Guitar Freaks: Silly. Sometimes too hard. Doesn't help you any if you're good at playing real guitar. :|

i find drummania to be difficult after like the first four songs. It goes from having just using the snare, bass and cymbal to having to know how to do combos with the toms and cymbal and snare at the same time. it's like if DDR went from begginer straight to hard light/easy standard difficulty. it's just way too hard to learn so you end up spending fifty bucks on it before you actually get the hang of it.

So in other words it's a total rip-off?

not entirely, it's a really fun game when you get into it, i guess. It gets you hooked when you play the first few songs.....
you know what, come to think of it, it IS a ripoff.
and it's kinda steep if you wanna get it on ps2
it kinda just turns you because of the difficulty.

When did it came out? Is it rare?

I don't understand it turns you because of it's difficulty?
you probaly meant by competing to someone right? or prizes that the game offers in the game.

I like DrumMania quite a bit. I'm not too good at it. My favourite is DDR which is what I'm best at. On DDR I can do 8 foot songs no problem, most 9 foot songs, and some 10 foot songs. My next favourite is Beat Mania. My buddy DJ is crazy. Yesterday I saw him get within about 10 arrows of beating Paranoia Survivor Max on Challenge. That guy is insane.
