Re: Pokemon Black and White I bought this the day it came out, but I haven't actually gotten around to playing it yet. My wife says it kicks ass. Hopefully I'll get a chance to play it sometime this week.

Actually, pokemonz would make a really badass (and complex) fighting game if you could customize the stats of your pokemon. Agility = faster attack speed, movement, etc. Also if you could alter movesets it would be one hell of a game. Imagine all the glory of pokemon in beat-'em-up form.

Re: Pokemon Black and White Anybody pick up Black and White 2? I've been thinking about it, but I'm not sure I give a fuck. The last games I played with real interest were Diamond/Pearl. I got Heartgold and raced through it with my Diamond team and managed to race through most of White in similar fashion. Wasn't crazy about White, though.
A part of me thinks I might sit this one out and just wait for the next one, unless I hear really good things about it. Is it worth it?

Re: Pokemon Black and White Admittedly, I love Pokemon, but I have a real crotchety old man attitude about it. OG Red/Blue will always be the best in my eyes. The last incarnation I've that strayed from there was the original Gold for the original GB...I've played Fire Red and Leaf Green, was thinking of picking up Heart Gold or Soul Silver...but what would be your guys recommendation for someone to the world of modern pokemon. Not necessarily modern per se, but anything after where I left off (which leaves plenty of room).
As far as gameplay, enjoyability, etc. Which game should I pick up?
