Easy, its one of the most terrible games I have ever played. I tried giving it a chance, but I hate it even
more as I play it more with friends who believe the game is awesome. It is terrible (again, its my opinion)
so it really varies with other gamers. I'm not a gamer, and I find Melee to be a really fun and exciting game.
When I play brawl, I am bored out of my fucking mind, and when something unbelievable happens, its only
because the game is fucking ridiculously broken.

Dude, it's the same fucking game. I see only three differences:

1) Better graphics.
2) Different guys.
3) More stuff.

If you're noticing anything more subtle than that, it isn't even worth mentioning, and you don't get an opinion.

The only thing I can complain about is the fucking shitty-assed online play. I mean, holy fucking shit - how hard can it be? Ever see Battle.net? Ever see Steam? FUCKING COPY THAT AND PUT IT IN THE FUCKING GAME, IT'S NOT FUCKING ROCKET SCIENCE. It has to be the easiest thing to not make shit fucking terrible - especially with Smash Bros., a game that is seemingly made for this sort of thing - and they somehow managed to fail at that. Playing chess on the fucking MSN Gaming Zone when I was 12 was better executed well over a hundred thousand fold. Ten years later, Nintendo managed to make something completely worse in every feasible way. FUCK.

i think you're grossly underestimating the technical skill and mindgames of melee, i can't speak for brawl, i haven't played it much. sf and gg are great fighting games.

melee and brawl have pretty big tournaments hosted by players. this past weekend genesis had about 600 players combined for melee+brawl. maybe not as big as MLG or organization sponsored tournaments, but for a tournament hosted by players it's pretty significant.

I'm not getting how it's a different game, lol. It's Super Smash Brothers 3 for all intents and purposes. They are all... the same... gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaame.

It's more features! More variety! More ways to win! More strategies to learn! More specialty matches to invent!

And more things for whiners to bitch about when they can't hack it. All three games are an A+ fun time with friends.

I wish the online did work well enough to enjoy 100% because my brother doesn't like to play as much anymore. We played the first two pretty tightly in skill level but either he got seriously rusty or I greatly increased in skill by the time Brawl came around.
