Re: What are you playing? Well, I ended up picking up a LOT of games during Steam's holiday sales, so I should really focus on playing through those for now before getting deeply involved in another awesome rpg.

Braid, Crysis, Torchlight, Mirror's Edge, the THQ pack (includes a couple pretty good games like the Red Faction series, Saints Row 2, some Warhammer games), Trine, Street Fighter IV, Mass Effect, Assassin's Creed, and Bioshock. I also pre-ordered Left 4 Dead 2, which has been pretty fun.

Re: What are you playing? Well, getting my paychecks and then seeing 75% off of top-end games on Steam kind of made me go a little crazy, but I figure I deserved it since that was pretty much my Christmas this year, lol.
As for ACII being better than the first, I've heard that from a few people, so I'm inclined to believe it. I'm going to hold off on ACII until a) I've beaten the first one and b) I either have a newer, better laptop that's actually designed for gaming or a desktop.

Re: What are you playing? You know, I've yet to really play it, I got it because it was on sale and I had watched a buddy play a bit of it back at school last Spring. Seemed pretty interesting, got good reviews, and it was really cheap on Steam's holiday sale. I'd be playing it already if it weren't for the fact that I had already committed a good chunk of time to some other games before I picked it up. Wish I could be of help, but I have no idea, lol. I don't think I've heard anything but good stuff about it though, as far as I can remember, so it should be a pretty safe bet that it's at least solid.
