I think whenever a system launches there is going to be some things wrong with it.
But nothing that cant be fixed with a quick mail in to Microsoft.

Microsoft is considering a recall. I don't think that is due to a miniscule problem. The battery is too hot and is causes games to crash easily and eventually will leave your whole console a 17 lb. brick. If you leave your console horizontally while playing a game it scratches it to hell. If it were glitches in a game, then it's the developer's fault so I wouldn't buy thr game, but when it's a hardware problem then fix that shit right now. MS also is making an extra batch to go to stores to replace the broken ones customers bring in.

Serves them right, don't you think they had this one coming to them. They made this system seem like some kind of miracle that everyone should cherish. Now it's all crashing down, and it started the same day it was released. This is Mircrosoft, so they should beable to get it all fixed up and ready for profit for the holidays.

first generation sony(and sometimes further ahead) always seem to break quickly. Xbox360 doing this is surprising. But good, all the same. I'm on the buy a ps2 when the price drops train.

How come everyone is waiting for price drops? None are planned right now. Even the original XBOX is staying at the same price and MS is planning to have the shipments get lower and lower until everyone just has to buy a 360.

Apparently, there are quite a number of "malfunctioning" Xboxes out there. Some people get crashes, overheats, flaky screens, bad stuff. MS may even have to issue a recall (Although they're currently downplaying the affected Xboxes, calling it "a miniscule amount")
LOL for them. I'm sticking with the PS3. It's gonna pwn hard.
weren't there similar problems when the ps2 launched?
I'm not so sure on the PS2s but apparently, a few of the processors in the PS3 won't work at all. Sony says that it won't inhibit gameplay though...Now...correct me if I'm wrong...the PS3 has upwards of about 8 processors...
But...on a note about the 360...

They declared war on xobxz? Meaning they hate xbox, but they bought it. I hope they smashed the controller on top of that guy's head.

ps3 and the revolution are bound to launch at less than $600 (xbox 360's core bundle price), and microsoft will no doubt drop their prices in response.

^$300 for the Core bundle and $400 for the Premium bundle.
Nintendo, being themselves, will no doubt launch the Revolution under $300. The most I can see it retailing would be $250.
Regarding PS3, I believe that its MSRP would be $400 or $500. If I recall correctly, the PS2 retailed for $500 when it first came out.

The Premium bundle is a pretty good deal considering all the shit you get with it.

Your mom sallows.
But I still don't think the Xbox 360 is worth the money. Still kudos, good choice on the $400. I myself would have choosen that deal.
