Thanks, I missed a couple. I also didn't know Relm was 10, I thought she was an older teen? Gonna have to explain yourself with Aeris. Saving the planet from catastrophe from beyond the grave should count for way more than Shit Tier.

She's humanoid with bunny ears. Animal ears only /=/ furry. She stays. In all honesty, she probably deserves to drop down to High Tier. I didn't play that one, I'm going off of what I remember from other discussions of Final Fantasy characters.

I dislike Rinoa because she was needlessly stubborn, clingy, as well as being just as brainless as Selphie. Squall was right to berate her after the train mission on disc one revealed how weak her plans were. Once she stormed out of her dad's living quarters and got some team members trapped, I pretty much had it with her. She never recovered for me, Squall carrying her comatose ass around seemed like an ironically appropriate sight gag representing how I felt about her up to that point: Dead weight.

Selphie goes over her because she is great comic relief, and she may be more clever than her personality would lead us to believe. She could also be [i]really that stupid[/i], and the thought of Selphie and Zell hooking up would probably bring forth the end of the world with a baby being born with such irresponsible genes. Again, if a more important character annoys me or has frustrating quirks that don't dissipate, you're damn right someone from the mid-card (pro wrestling term lol) will go over them provided they are funny or likeable.

Paine was pretty empty as a character, she might as well have been a goth chick Yuna knew from her bi-curious college days. Unless there is some huge story important, thought provoking angle to her that I'd only know if I beat the game, but I seriously doubt it.

I could probably sum up the male characters too.

An if we're rating based on personality and not purely looks, I'd drop Tifa in the shit tier as well. Honestly, most female leads from he ps1 era are pretty dull.
