turning those tank-triceratops things into strength-ups. ultimate weapons. final limit breaks. FFVII <3.
wtf is up with Tifa's final move being hidden in that damn piano? My friend told me about it, but I doubt I would have ever even thought about doing that otherwise. :/

its the piano in her bedroom, and they leave hints as to what you're supposed to do - play her theme song. it's brilliant

it's the world map song, not tifa's theme. :/
but yeah, it was pretty brilliant of them. I stumbled upon Lucretsia by pure chance for Vincent's stuff XD

I actually recalled the Do Re Mi Ti La Do Re Mi So Fa Do Re Do combination to get Tifa's Limit Break my first time playing through FFVII. It was pretty sweet getting her final limit. I was just doing it for fuck's sake.
I didn't look at a guide, either. It's my philosophy to play a game through once without guides or cheats and then do whatever the fuck I want with another playthrough. Let me just say Suikoden II is -SO- much more the win if you use the Jowy 2 game shark cheat code, especially if you use the Matilda Easter Egg. You can get Hungry Friend before you ever go to Muse!
EDIT: If you recall during the "Sephiroth's In Nibleheim" flashback with Cloud, you can see the sheet music (and get some lingerie). I thought it would be a good idea to remember it and it was.

haha. i remember doing that. "YOU TOOK MY UNDERWEAR? ARE YOU SERIOUS" I totally responded yes. XD Good times. The song is really easy to figure out by ear once you get used to the controls for playing the piano.
My party was Cloud, Tifa, and Vincent, because they were the most kickass. Get Death Penalty and Choas for Vincent and Tifa's ultimate gloves and break, you're set.
Tifa raises dolphins inside her vagoo. It scares me.

Eh, Premium Heart kinda sucks as a final weapon. Regardless, my party was always Tifa, Yuffie, and Cloud.
Also: Mastering KotR is a bitch. Even using magic pots and triple AP, it's a bitch.
Know what's fun? Pwning Ruby Weapon with only 999 max H.P.

lol i played the japanese release. you only fight a few of the weapons. :/
when rufus kills emerald and diamond, they actually stay dead lol.
I didn't bother mastering the summoning shit. What was the point? My omnislash was better anyway. XD

I remember I played Final Fantasy VII at some point.
Of all the characters, I liked using Aeris the most. In fact, I spent much of my time developing her, and she was certainly my favorite. On that note, fuck Final Fantasy VII. It should have warned you before you wasted all your fuckin' time and effort.

The space one with Eggman...the only way I could actually get an A rank was by collecting all the rings. Points just wasn't working. No matter how many I got, it was always a B.
Heh, I pretty much used up a summer vacation getting all those emblems. Or a lot of it.

I would have to say that VI, VII, VIII, IX, and Tactics are equally awesome.
The rest are

Onto Tifa's underwear, it was "orthopedic." Poor girl had back pain. <3 I'm sure all that martial arts helped with her pain problems so she didn't have to get surgery. Everybody wins.
Also, I couldn't get the Limit Break out of the piano for the longest time, I think there's a sequence involved. I could never get it on disc 3, but I finally got it on disc 2 once.
I remember I couldn't find this one emerald in the first knuckles level once, so I stayed in the level for about 2 hours just getting rings. I finally figured out where the thing was hidden. (secret room, through a wall painting in the shadows, I think) The music fanfare kicks in, BUPBARUBABABAPBAPBAP BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH
Loud freeze with "Now Saving" in the bottom right corner. I shat bricks. I was fortunate that I didn't lose my save data, only the rings that I had collected on that level, which I didn't really care about.
My copy of THUG2 had a glitch in the Skatopia level where if you tried to save your progress or any trick changes the game would freeze while saving and it deleted my save data. I got all the way back there a second time and forgot and got my save data wiped out again, but at that point I was tired of the game as it was not stellar anyways.

I couldn't figure out how FFVIII worked, so I stopped playing it.
Don't get me wrong, I don't play these games for the gameplay - I play them for the storyline. But if I can't figure out how it works, it just becomes frustrating. Such RPG's shouldn't entail significant hours spent on learning it.
And I would certainly add FFX to the good Final Fantasy series list.
