you can also get imported japanese games at Fry's but they cost 50 dlls or so O_O(anime games have higher prices , dont know why)

I really want a DS Lite, but I don't know what games to get until Pokemon pearl and Tales of the Tempest come out.

lostmagic is the most infuriating game I've ever played. i'm stuck at early stages of the game.

how is it? i've only heard bad stuff about that game

Well, considering that both of the games I plan on getting for sure are RPGs of some type, that should give you a clue.

Some fighting games are fun, too, but usually not on handhelds.

guilty gear ds should be cool.

i know the new lunar game was ok. I want to get it, but haven't seen it anywhere, plus don't feel like dishing out 30 dollars right now. Also, rerelease of trauma center at the end of july!

i heard the lunar game was disappointing. and the series is not known for innovative, exciting gameplay to begin with. mario & luigi: partners in time is supposed to be pretty good.

there really aren't many rpgs out for DS currently... however, there are some interesting games on the horizon.

mario & luigi is good, but short. well... not too short. last boss is pretty hard.

Along with the cost, that's pretty much why I haven't gotten one yet. I figured I'd just wait for the cost to go down and for a game that I truly thought was worth buying the system for to come out, and now a new version of the DS is out, so I'm really glad I waited. I'm with Jomei in essentially playing only RPG's and sometimes fighting games, which can be fun with friends. I didn't get a Gameboy Advance until Golden Sun came out, but I got one for the game, because it looked really good, and I've been planning on the same type of thing for the DS. There are a few games that interest me, but not enough to get me to spend the money on it, especially when I don't have much time to play video games nowadays, anyway. I'll get one eventually, though . . . actually, my friend just offered to sell his old DS (because he got a lite) for $50, but he said, "and it's the red one," and I was like "Ewww! No!" I'm not a fan of red . . . though I like pink and maroon and orange and purple. Yeah, I probably wouldn't buy it anyway, though. Even though I know him, and he takes great care of his stuff, I'd rather buy a new one and also a lite instead.

i want the pink DS lite.

not that i can honestly justify buying it.
