Nope.

Post Re: Metal Gear Solid 4
I managed to get the MGS PS3 bundle from walmart (that comes with the $100 gift card) and I also purchased a copy of the Limited Edition. I'll probably end up selling the standard edition that comes with the bundle to my friend. I've looked through the art book, and it's gorgeous. I'm going to listen through the soundtrack now :groovin: .

On a side note, MGS4 scored a perfect 10 on IGN. I'm not saying that critics' opinions should be taken absolutely, but it's nice to know that they agree this is one of the greatest video games ever. The reviewer said:

"Is it possible to give a game an 11? If so, this would be the game that would merit that score. Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots is a title that exceeds all of the hype that was attached to the title."

I heard MGS4 was a great flick! I think i'll go pick up a copy, make some popcorn, lay my ass on my couch and watch it.

Have fun with your "interactive" movie

I guess it really is a love it or hate it type of thing, but the 90-minute-cutscene thing was a rumor. The longest I've encountered without any gameplay so far is barely ten minutes. Most of the cutscenes have interactive elements to them as well, it's actually really badass what they did with it this time :shred:

Anyway, if it really is just an interactive movie, then it's one of the best action movies in years.

So far the longest cutscenes are the mission briefings and I think you can skip them. But I really don't care about the length of the cutscenes because MGS has a great story. That's one of the reasons why the MGS series has been so great. The only thing I didn't really like is the fact that you have to do an install after every Act. Although it's only 3min installs after the initial install, but at first I was like "Wtf? Didn't I already do this shit?" Now, I just take a break when it installs.

I think the max it can install is 4 or 5 gigs. So the game basically overwrites after every act so it won't be over that limit put on by Sony.

Have any of you tried the online portion of the game yet? It's extremely addicting. The best mode by far is Sneaking Mode where there's 3 teams, blue, red, and a team of Snake + the MKII. Snake wins if he can collect 3 dogtags (with the help of the MKII) and the other two teams win if either one kills snake a certain number of times.

Yeah, I got to play MGO when i preordered MGS awhile ago. I got the beta download. It was pretty awesome, a lot better then MGS3 online. I just finished up MGS4, so I'll probably be on a little bit more. But I want to play the single player some more though.

Just beat the game yesterday. It took me a while because I've been spending a lot of time online (37 hours in fact  ). I must say that was the greatest and most emotional game I've ever played. The whole game was an amazing experience with uncomparable gameplay and top-notch cutscenes. Also, the final boss fight was the single most epic boss fight ever in a game!

That's kind of funny. In a weird sort of way. How can you not be able to play M rated games? You're parents don't let you? Or just a decision you made? My father was the one that got me into games. We use to love playing mortal kombat for the snes :D He knew that I knew that it was just a game. We aren't that dumb to think "hey he just killed a whole city with out running out of bullets. So I think I should go do that. I'll wear armor and it will end up lasting me a long time. Seeing as they wont bother shooting my head."

I'ma go play doom now.

first of all, what the fuck are you talking about? there's no fucking country in this entire world that's immune from crimes such as murder.
Secondly, you're making an assumption that's purely based on THE FACT THAT I USED THE WORD MEXICO. You neglected to even try to understand what i was referring to. Hell, even You don't know what the hell you're even talking about half the time.

You know what, screw this. Everyone meet me at the Killing Field.
