I went to the mall the other day to pick up New Super Mario Bros., and when I finally got there they said they had sold their last copy 10 minutes before I got there
3)Sonic Rush.
The music is definately crazy good, especially the water ruins level for sonic and the aircraft carrier level. I did have some little problems with the game though.

1. They brought back the sonic 2 halfpipe special stage, which would have been awesome, but it's somewhat awkward to be forced to do it with the stylus. Jumping out of the pipe to reach the ring challenges was a pain in the ass. Also, the last emerald is crazy hard. There's just too much you have to do to win.

2. Boss fights take a while longer, because they prevent you from manipulating any multi hit bounce strategys. Basically, you hit, wait, hit.

3. The carnival level is pure evil. There are points where you have to run into a trapeze apparatus to travel over a chasm. The problem is, it looks like you are gonna run off the cliff and die, causing me to flinch and jump, missing the trapeze and falling to my death.

4. The Level "Altitude Limit" is even harder, because of more hard to manipulate level gadgets. You're gonna want about 20 or 30 lives.

5. The Spin-Dash under performs. Also, they put a lot of really cheap running traps in, like crashing into an enemy suddenly because you aren't in a ball, and most noteably, a sick joke on the aircraft carrier level. You're runnin' runnin' runnin' like a constipated weiner dog (he he) when suddenly, you hit a dead end wall. Then a piston drops on your head, with no time to react. The first checkpoint? IMMEDIATELY following the trap. Even when you know it's coming, it's very easy to forget when. There are several situations like this throughout the game. It takes the fun out of blowing through levels furiously, which is supposed to be the whole point.

Overall I'd say 7/10. It is a great game, it just has some frustrating sticking points that take away a bit of the fun.

The parachutes weren't too much trouble, it was those crazy rockets you had to control by jumping. Getting up the last segment of the second act with those rockets was a bitch, it took very precise timing. It was a very nerve racking level for me, that's why I live stacked to get through. I felt it was too easy to die cheaply in that level, with the akward gadgets and screen transitions, plus the copius amount of pits throughout the level. Also, I'd like to add that the DS is the first handheld I've ever owned, with Sonic Rush being the first game I've ever played on it. I was still trying to get the hang of focusing on the action, holding it the right distance, all that jazz.

I liked the creativity of the gadgets, but I would have like it that they would have put them in places where you could practice with them as well, so you didn't have to die a few times just to figure out how to use them properly. That makes more sense to me.

Did we all see the news about The Challenge Mode you unlocked when you beat NSMB?

L R L R XX YY (on the world map)

I think.
It makes it impossible for you to backtrack in the level. Its kind of weird and sometimes you get stuck in a ditch or something and you cant go back to jump out of it. It does make the game 1% harder.
