If you were trying to play Shadow of the Colossus from the get-go, you were being a bit naive. SotC pushed the PS2 to the limit.

Nah, I knew setting were different for every game. It just took me a while to figure them out for SotC. I'm still a bit clueless about Dragon Quest VIII though, lol.

PCSX2 has a really good forum community for solving those kinds of issues.

Black Ops is a crap game, I've been back to MW2 for a long while now.

I can agree with you there, but it does grow on you after a bit of playing. MW2 had the better campaign and more realistic gameplay, it was the simplicity of Black Ops and the flow of the game without getting sniped every fucking minute that got me interested in it.

It's actualy a disappointment then nothing.

Black Ops isn't more simple by any means, and the flow of the game is nonexistent and random because it's broken as shit with the latency issues destroying the usability of precision weapons most matches.

I've played the first MW. I dislike it. I can auto-regenerate? WTF? SERIOUSLY? Ruined it for me.

Black Ops is much more balanced than MW2 is.

People just hate on Black Ops because they can't regularly go 34:2 without their stacking kill streaks.

Theoretical gun balance doesn't matter for shit if the gameplay is broken from network issues inherent in the way they programmed the game. Sure, I could grab a Famas or something, play the lag, and go 25 and 4, but the bullshit deaths from connection are just far too frequent for my tastes. I've heard it's way better on PC though.

The main problem with all the new CoD games is that they are such obvious console ports - I enjoy them, but this really limits the gameplay. These games have somehow managed to make it feel like you're playing an XBOX 360 emulator on your PC.

Every[i]one[/i] is better on PC.

PC players have actually been proven to outmatch even the [i]best[/i] console players. This is why we don't have cross-platform gaming...PC players are simply too good.

So if you're going to make a PC game, then make a PC game - don't just make a console game and make it playable on the PC. If anything, make a PC game and make it playable on a console. To do the opposite makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.

Picked up Radiant Historia for DS today. I'm probably going to wait until I finished Dragon Quest VI to play it but it looks like it's going to be really good.
