I always loved the Earthsea trilogy.

And I'm currently reading...well, tons of job applications. More like filling them out, I suppose.

just finished [i]the seven-day weekend[/i] (omg nonfiction) and [i]a long way down[/i] (nick hornby). didn't enjoy it as much as [i]about a boy[/i].

They're quite good. Children's stories to be sure, but very well-done. They're short reads too, which is always a plus. I prefer them over the Harry Potter books.
