Post Re: DS
Ah, the DSi...I heard about this yesterday. I'm kind of leery about this. There's two things I don't like already, too.

1. No more backward compatibility(GBA slot is gone)
2. The camera is a gimmick.

Also, this seems just like how Nintendo released the GBA SP a couple of years after the GBA. It's the same idea, take a successful product and add one or two additional things to it. People will buy this for sure. I don't think I will unless they somehow stop developing for the regular DS and I have no choice.

I was thinking about getting one of those new-fangled DS Lites. They can play both DS and GBA games?

Aside from Nintendogs, though, I'm not sure what games I would buy.

Post Re: DS
The sad thing about this generation is that the DS has more of a focus on 'hardcore' games than the consoles do. It has a lot of old school platformers, RPGs, some FPS, and a lot of tactics titles. People always thought the DS would be a gimmick system with lots of puzzles and micro-game collections, and it's turning out to have bigger balls than it's older brothers.

Ooh, they're going to release a My Japanese Coach. If it's any good, I might get it.

I just think dogs are cute...babies - not so much. I can see myself buying in the contraceptives market for a long time. Although, statistically, having sex 1,000-10,000 times should produce a child, based on the reported effectiveness of certain contraceptives. I might just go for that until I'm 30.

I am actually looking for games that are generally accepted to be must-have on IM.

See, I thought you were joking about the Nintendogs and responded in kind.

I was kidding, and saw that you were kidding, and continued kidding, but in all seriousness, I might get Nintendogs.

So....exactly what part of changing shitty diapers sounds fun enough to make a game out of? Someone explain this to me.

I got the R4 card for my DS and have been playing Ouendan, Mario Kart DS, and the New Super Mario Bros. on it. Shit's awesome.
