I've never liked Mega Man... or any old school games, for that matter. Can somebody suggest a game that's good, but is old school that a youngster like me could get into? (I'm not trying to derail the topic.)

Way before mario galaxy came out. We had a game called " Mario bros." For the NES. A NES (Nintendo Entertainment System) was one of the first consoles to come out since the crash of video games accured. You could try playing that. Or before sonic the hedgehog 2006 came out . There was game for the Sega Mega Drive or (genesis) called sonic the hedgehog. It's also a great game.

Boy did you miss a lot of great games. Now is mostly just graphics and how long one lasts.

On a side note. I remember that Megaman show. Not the new crappy one. The old song

The fighting robot megaman. The fighting robot megaman.

I've tried the early Mario games... in fact, I've disliked every Mario game. Except the SSB series. They just lack depth, in my opinion.

So you want depth? Most games back then were SIMPLE. Get from point A to point B. Simple as that. None of that there are a Million secrets. That's the problem with you kidz now a days. You want everything in High definition. Go play vectorman or the original mortal kombat games before they became 3d. They were better. Unless you want your fighters to be realistic. Or doom. The classic doom. Was full of win! Unless you like your FPS to be realistic and have superior 5.1 soround sound <.<

I don't really care for today's games. Everything I've played for 360 has bored the hell out of me.

But I would kill somebody, in front of they own mama, to get an original series Mega Man game with today's graphics. And if anyone testifies against me I'll gouge their eyes out.

I liked being able to dash and do the crazy shit as seen in the X series. Being Zero and able to double-jump just sweetened the deal.

Was anyone else like, "Oh shit! They died!" during the second part of that video where he's falling down? I know I was.

And then I was criticizing him for getting hit so easily like a wuss.



On a related note: I've beaten Megaman 2 + 3 over the past two days, and am halfway done with Megaman 4 as well. As you can imagine, my Megaman skills have vastly improved.

My brother can beat the games really fast. When I bought the anniversary collection. He beat all megamn 1-6 in couple hours <.<

I'm not trying to beat them all at once. I'm just playing them a little bit at a time, like when I'm tired of watching anime and stuff.

Speaking of which: Uncheck Megaman 4 from my unbeaten games list...And man, this one was easy compared to the others. Liek srislee. The only semi-tough boss was Wily at the very end.
