I want LittleBigPlanet and Mirrors edge... But I don't have my PS3 here at college

Mirror's Edge looks like it will be pretty awesome. Parkour FTW

Play portal first! I enjoyed that game. It was the best thing in the orange box. I bought SC4 It isn't as good as the others. I don't know why. Just blah. I stopped playing it already.

My brother has been buying games for the ps3. He bought Skate ( i like it but a little TO realistic) Need For speed not sure which one haven't playeed it. Some Fifa games and resistance. I haven't tried resistance. I heard it is good. He has played it and he enjoys it.
We have GTA 4 but it just to boring. After couple days of playing it i just gave up. If only i had wifi or faster net i'd so be playing Team Fortress online. Or SC4

Oh man, I got Disgaea 2 a long time ago and I still haven't gotten around to playing it...

Parkour is simply a ridiculous renaming of something that has existed since the dawn of mankind, so that somebody (or some group of practitioners) can take credit for something that is so mundane that nobody thought to give it a name until very recently. Mirror's Edge is not based on parkour. Parkour is a figment of one's imagination. Mirror's Edge is based on acrobatics and movement. God, I want to slay whoever came up with parkour, and every other person who buys into his/her bullshit.

I played the Mirror's Edge demo last night. Based on that, and the reviews I've seen...
Really cool, interesting, but definitely flawed.

Pros: Beautiful, brightly lit environments are a breath of fresh air. Very slick. Great art style.
Movement is pretty fluid, good sense of vertigo for long jumps
The basic mechanics are solid

Cons: Combat is a total bitch- you're not really even supposed to fight in this game, but sometimes it forces you to...resulting in death. Often.
The direction you're supposed to go in is highlighted in red. Move to the next red object, jump over it, duck under it, grab onto it, walk over it...Then move to the NEXT red object and do the same thing. It makes a game that looks so open-world feel SO on-rails. Almost like a sonic game - just push forward and jump occasionally.
Some obstacles require really precise timing, and when you make them, it's hard to see what you did correctly that time.


I give props to the makers of Mirrors Edge for trying something new and different. If they opened up the world more, ditched the red highlighting, and made combat more avoidable...they'd have an amazing, original game on their hands. As it is now, it's too flawed to recommend.

Or just make it where you can have it show the red highlight when you hold down a certain button.

Seriously, man. Same with karate, boxing, fencing, etc. Fuck, it's totally like they're just fighting, bro.

My brother bought Sonic Unleashed earlier today. I am actually enjoying it. It lags a little to much. I notice it <.< The night levels kinda kill the whole experience of the fast passed action speed. Overall it's fun. I wouldn't say the best sonic game. But meh.

So guys, my friend just told me that it's possible to remove Talladega Nights from the PS3's disc tray.

But yeah, I want a ps3 so I can play MGS4. I don't really care about anything else on it, but MGS is a series that I hold dear. I was heartbroken when it came out, because I couldn't play it.

I haven't played MGS4. But i'ma get it one of these days. I actually have only played the psone MGS and MGS2. I liked both of them. I want to play them all though. From the MSX version to the ps3. I actually uploaded an MSX emulator to play MGS and MGS2. I want to understand the story more clearly. I will also the once for the psp, and MGS3. I just haven't had the chance to play them though.

I played the NES version and BEAT it. lol. It was awesome. Hard but fun.

MGS3 is one of the best games I've ever played. It made me cry. And no other game shall ever do that, ever again.

The only 2 games that have made me cry were Final Fantasy 9 and Kingdom hearts.
FF9 because of the story. I was surprise Zidane was alive. Like ZOMG He's ALIVE. In kingdom hearts (first one) Was because it was sad to see Kairi and Zora. They both promised each other that no matter what happens to any of them. Both will always be in there heart. Or some crap like that.

I was actually HOPING to cry in Kingdom Hearts 2. I really was But I wasn't. The ending was kinda lame. I haven't played MGS3 so i wouldn't know the story.
