I probably should've mentioned that one of the reasons I'm getting the ipod is so I can trash some of the [color=white]illegally-downloaded[/color] music on my computer. So the shuffle just wouldn't cut it.

If ur trying to make room on ur comp, the shuffle is useless cuz it only holds one gig max. And theres really no way to know whats on the shuffle without listening to it or using a comp. So yes, dont buy the shuffle.

The shuffle is basically good for listening to music when running or working out.
Then again, I don't have an MP3 player, so I shouldn't talk.

I know what the fuck is on my shuffle. The only problem is in which order you put the songs. As well as looking for them.

You can't put on playlists like you can on an iPod. Everything on the shuffle acts as if it's one big playlist. Which is why it won't put songs from the same band with the other bands. With every song you add, it will become the last song on the list.
