Small list of games that I own:

-Smash Bros. Melee
-Zelda: Wind Waker
-Super Mario Sunshine
-Pikmin 1+2
-Metroid Prime 1+2
-Skies of Arcadia
-Viewtiful Joe
-Animal Crossing

I think they're all pretty worthwile in their own way. I plan on picking up the new Zelda later this year, and it looks great. I also wanna get Megaman X Collection, as I was quite smitten by the first two X games when I rented them back on the SNES. Knowing Capcom, they're all probably the same game, but that doesn't really matter so much when they do it so damn good the first time that more of the same is still fun.

I only started feeling that way recently. After finding some more info on the 'net, I realized how many things I'm interested in on PS2, especially that thar Katamari thingamajig.

There are a lot of really awesome games for PS2 that are less mainstream. I think the reason for this is Sony's dominance in Japan, home of the best game developers.

It does seem so. And some games don't even get released over here. Such a shame.

Though I'm pretty sure some people would disagree about who has the best developers. (Joyeuse, I'm looking in your direction.)

the PsP is pretty cool too. My brother has one and it's cool how you can put videos and emultors and stuff on it. There's alot of cool stuff you can do with it.

agree 100%. like star ocean 1: we never got it. i have a translated emulator though and the japanese version and i play them side-by-side.

Yeah, everyone here pretty much got the best games, maybe one or seven im not thinking of. Also theres th at think you can buy where you can start playing your Gameboy games on Gamecube.

The problem with gamecube is that theres only like 7 good games. Everything else is kinda bad.

Get F-Zero GX. Incredibly fun racing game.

Ack, seriously, Steve. Perhaps the main deciding feature between my purchase of a PS2 or GC was the volume of the respective RPG libraries.

PS2: Final Fantasy, Xenosaga, Shadow Hearts, Star Ocean, etc.
GC: A remake of the DC game Skies of Arcadia.
