 Re: RPGs
Yeah, number 2 added some neat things, but ultimately failed to be as captivating or interesting and I stopped playing. Three looked retarded entirely. I actually enjoy four a bit other than whiny voice acting, the hex battle system makes for a ton of fun.

 Re: RPGs
Has anyone named Jack Emilio to skip his first dungeon?
I know I have.

 Re: RPGs
Fuck that, I enjoy every single dungeon in that game. There are no goddamned water temples.
...well, the part where you had to open the books in a specific order was fucking annoying, but other than that...

Ahaha, signed.
But you don't fucking get anything from the first dungeon until you type in Emilio.

 Re: RPGs
I remember when I read about the item duplication trick and showed it to my oldest brother, he was like "wow, that's neat! Duplicate some power apples for my save, I'll brb." So I duplicated a couple hundred, gave them all to Jack, fought a battle to see the crazy results, then saved the game. He comes back and he's like "Holy shit he's a one-man wrecking crew!" How many did you give him, I just wanted a few... I hope you didn't save the game..." I also ruined his DOS Wheel of Fortune data winning streak by playing a multiplayer round with my profile and his. By myself. I lost because it was Wheel of Fortune and I was ~6-7 years old, and I wasn't good at finding the keys. I don't know why I did this. I guess it was just a child's mistake. I only played the first Wild Arms myself. My other brother played more of them. He really liked 2 for a reason I can't grasp, that game looked strange to me. He was so-so about 3, with me watching along it looked like it had some fun stuff but he hated the cel-shading look (I liked it). He liked 4 a little more than 3, and he liked Alter Code F, though I'm not even sure he beat that one yet. In Alter Code F, he always joked about Cecilia's battle stance where she bobs up and down and shakes her wrist around. Kung-fu handjob. But yarr, the first Wild Arms was totally A+. Guns and swords and puzzles out the ass, wild west and a shit-ton of godzilla looking summons, awesome musical score, great three character party... Holy balls. Book puzzle stumped me for a while. BUT! My main claim was getting my brothers through the floating garden in that segment where you have to walk backwards through the floors to go forward to a new room(something like that). They were like, "Wow, thanks! Now we can keep playing on!" and I was like "tch... if either of you would've talked to the townspeople at all you would've encounter the guy who gives you the clue!" Shit was SO cash.

 Re: RPGs
Lol, floating gardens = cake. If you want a REAL challenge, play Alundra.
Although Cloudy has iirc.

 Re: RPGs
Did you guys know that in FFX, Seymour has an Overdrive you can use?
It's called Requiem, and it's kind of like Anima's overdrive, but without Anima.

 Re: RPGs
I remember wasting a ton of time in the battle with Sinspawn Gui just so I could fire off Seymour's overdrive. Ah, memories.
Right now I'm re-playing through my first RPG ever, Dragon Warrior Monsters. What a great game, I hadn't played the original in about seven or eight years. I'd take this over Pokemon any day.

Dragon Quest V, Shin Megami Tensei, FFV + VI, Lunar, SUIKODEN I and then II, Earthbound, Earthbound 0, Metal Max Returns. Bah, I've played almost every decent RPG that's come out on the SNES...There are so many I can't even think of more right now.

 Re: RPGs
Lufia and Lufia 2 looked pretty cool, but I never played them. Also, I played a little bit of this Sailor Moon RPG, I think it was Sailor Moon: Another Story, and it actually was looking fairly decent. Lolz. I haven't played roms in years though. I was all overjoyed when I found a sequel in the river city ransom franchise, and it had their girlfriends as playable characters. It was a fun ass beat'em up, but I couldn't beat this bar bouncer boss and I stopped playing. I don't know where that stuff went on my computer.
