Would the new one for DS be an okay place to start? I've never played pokemans before, I'm figuring it could be worth a try. Before I get it though, I still have too many other games to play through.
Games I still haven't beaten:
FF8
BOF2
.hack//investment
New games I've barely touched:
8.8
DQH Rocket Slime
Tales of Symphonia
Yoshi's Island DS
I need to play moar gaems and intarnet less.

The new ones are a fine place to start. I think they anticipate new people to the franchise on this one, and the games were never very hard, especially in the early stages.

I still haven't finished Tales of Symphonia. I started it last summer, but my little sisters played as the other characters during the battles, so they got sucked into the story line, so now we can only play when all three of us have time, which is infrequently with school/work schedules. I think I am right before the final boss battle, though.

You realize that even if they aren't there, you can play solo? Where exactly did you leave off?

Of course I know it is possible to play solo, but I'm a nice guy, so I don't progress the story without them.

Unrelatedly, any of you play killer 7? I've just been contemplating going back and working at Killer 8...

Is that a Gamecube? I put my black the pillows sticker over the Gamecube logo on the top. The Cloud-Riding Buster is on the top of my blue DS. <3
Anybody considering trying Drawn To Life? Looks like an interesting goof-around game for drawing whatever the hell you want for your playable character, his "weapons", and scenery bits.
Also, opinions on:
Rune Factory: A Fantasy Harvest Moon
Worms: Open Warfare 2
Anno 1701: Dawn of Discovery
Sonic Rush Adventure

Read good things about it but also that it was a bit on the easy side.
I just ordered Phantom Hourglass. Glee!

Drawnto life looks alright, I'm not really into it.
I beat the first dungeon and I just finished following the Ghost ship and so far so good. I likethe whole Hourglass thing, a time limit in a dungeon really puts pressure on you and i like that concept. the game has really been good sofar and I don't think it will disapoint me
The Pokemon games are awesome, but recently I haven't been in the mood. Like after beating the Gym leaders I got bored of it and I haven't played it after that. I got really tired of trying to look for starters online and all they wanted were rare pokemon or high leveled ones, that really irritated me. I want a Japanese one though, don't knwo why but they just look cool. Like when I was young, I would see the Japanese Pokemon card and i would TOTALLY go crazy for em. Poketo monsta.
Anyone have Jump Ultimate Stars? I have been iching for a fight, and none of my friends have the game and people online sometimes aren't that good so it's sometimes boring. It's like Mario Kart, I would beat even the Snakers.
Ohh about the DS Lite, I have been meaning to buy one(My cousin has one) but i don't knoe what to buy, Fifa or the DS. An online soccer game is awesome, but so is the DS Lie
