 Audiosurf
So who else has tried this out besides Lostman?
This game is fucking awesome. I tried the demo and immediately bought it. It's only ten bucks, and will kill your GPA faster than your mom's weekend visits killed mine.

I've spent many an hour with the game. It freaking rocks.
What songs have you found to be good with it? I've found a lot of Muse and Mika songs work well. Boat House is pretty fun.

the pillows's songs are great.
Number Girl songs are intense due to Inazawa's amazing drumming.

It's funny, I just downloaded it yesterday. I found out about it when I searched "pillows" on Stage6. Haven't played it yet.

It sucks that the game can't yet recognize unicode tagged files. It knocks out a lot of Japanese songs I wanted to try. (The framerate also sucks on my fairly beastly computer, I guess a lot of people are having problems).
The TF2 songs are pretty fun.

I liked doing Skinny Blues a lot.

Every song I've tried with it has been fun. Whenever the song has really punctuated rhythm, the quick speed-up/slow-downs can be a real handful, but that just makes it even more fun. Literally a game with infinite possibilities.

Have you encountered any corkscrews or loops? I've hit a few corkscrews but I've yet to find a loop (they were in the beta at least).

I don't think I've seen any loops, but I've had some killer corkscrews at max speeds, those are pretty fucking hard.
(I generally play Mono Pro/Ninja Mono, so I'm trying like crazy to dodge those grays while grabbing all the colored ones)

Did it with "B2" by bloodthirsty butchers. Fucking amazing! This could be the next step to custom songs for "Guitar Hero" or something.
Also, tried it with "Ash Like Snow" by the brilliant green. Super hard, but super fun!

Play it with "I Don't Wanna Die" by GNB, and see if your mind can handle the speed !

Already did that. There are far faster ones I've done, where the whole track was downhill, and almost exclusively at top speed.

 Re: Audiosurf
bumping this. I really dig playing Avengers in sci-fi and school food punishment songs on it.
My favorite song right now has to be The JetzeJohnson - Dancetek though.

 Re: Audiosurf
I played this and wasn't very impressed. The reaction time of the surfer guy was too slow for my taste, and I didn't feel like adjusting my timing to make it work perfectly.
I also didn't feel like converting some of my songs from m4a and mp4 into mp3 format just to play them.
