apparently a lot of people are dismayed by the DRM protection on the game that only lets you install the game twice before locking up? I havne't checked but supposedly amazon has a ton of 1 star reviews because of it.

But the game itself is amazing.

Man, really let down by Spore. Great idea, the execution just didn't really come through all that well.

Oh God, it is. I'm in the Space Phase rite nao (because I can only play it at my friend's... I'm a game whore ) and it's pretty in-depth. I'm almost done with it.

The galaxy is HUGE! It's pretty crazy how each star system can have a planet that'd be good to terraform or colonize, and with thousands of star systems just toward the tip of a spiral in the galaxy, there are probably over a hundred thousand star systems in the galaxy...And I think Will Wright stated that if that galaxy becomes too populated, SPORE can use multiple galaxies. .

Also: They already released a patch keepin' up on they shit within the first week of release.
