It was used in Frank Miller's Dark Knight Returns series among others. The movie version is ... well ... different, but the original concept of an armored quad axle is still there.
Of course now that I think of it, the timeline is all wrong as DKR takes place post-bat-retirement. Ahh screw it, poetic license at work

my two cents: I haven't seen the movie, but Batman's first villian in Gotham is the Joker.
he spent years training in secluded parts of the world to become the uberhuman he turns out to be (with strength rivaling Superman). |

I need to get the animated series on dvd. i loved it.[/quote] no. he's not from the tick. that's the Scarecrow. aka Jonathon Crane. he's obsessed with fear and phobias and shit. he's pretty cool in the comic and the old animated series. i'm not sure how he is in the film since i haven't seen it yet. in regards to the batmobile. i've heard lots of people tell me that the batmobile in 'begins' looks just like the one in DKR. i'm here to tell you. it doesn't. i don't see it. the one in DKR is more like a tank than this. the movie still looks cool though. |
