Post Fooly Cooly Secret Project
For about a month, the Synch-Point blog has been talking about a secret FLCL project that they've been working on. Last week, the site mentioned that there will be a couple more FLCL projects that will be under the radar; and will be working closely with Production I.G. and GAINAX (which was mentioned on the 7th).

Now here's the big question: what is it that they're working on? Is it a video game? A new series? Action figures? Clothing line? Fragrance ("FLCL: the new fragrance from Calvin Klein")? A live-action movie? (God I hope not! I thought of it first!!!)

What do you think it is? Does anyone know the slighest idea of what is going on?

Synch-Point has nothing to do with the latest OST. It is Geneon that's dealing with that.

Because the FLCL cash cow has enough milk to last us for at least 10 more years.

i hope you're wrong, sawao.... i truly hope you're wrong...

well, a movie MIGHT be good... but at this point in the game, it would probably just be a milking of the cash cow, as omnistry put it.
I heard From ANN that a FLCL movie was due out in late July/early August.
Here's the story about that:

Back in 1999, after the release of the FLCL manga, GAINAX was going to make an FLCL movie; but instead went with the 6-episode series.

As for recent stuff about a new FLCL movie: I haven't found anything. Where did you find this information on ANN?

Perhaps I was mistaken. I might be getting it confused with something else...

I don't think a movie would be good either, I mean, there's nothing left to the story to make it interesting without making it too reminiscent of the storyline of the series.
