I've been watching this show all summer, and it was instantly one of my favorite shows.
For those of you who don't know, it's a reboot of an Australian comedy, starring Elijah Wood and Jason Gann.

Been watching it, it's kinda funny and WTF at the same time. I think I'm about halfway through.

It's actually available on Hulu as well. But you have to login because of the rating.

Just started watching this, it is funny and quite wacky. Reminds me a bit of Unhappily Ever After, just the schizophrenia part of it.

I liked the first two episodes I watched.

Though, I really question where they can take this show. I can't imagine a 'season 5'.

Yeah. The original was only 2 seasons, so hopefully they don't try to drag out the US version.

See, I didn't know that this was a series already so my only reaction was WTF. Now I want to check it out.

Interestingly enough, Season 5 begins next Wednesday. It's supposed to be the last season. I'm pretty pumped.

Er, I lied. It was only season four.

I just finished the series (it's on Netflix!) yesterday, and holy fuck. It's really dark and sad and light and uplifting. Literally one of the few shows where I cared enough about it that it legitimately got me in the feels.


I think one of the best parts about Wilfred is that even though I knew the premise the entire time, I could never fully wrap my head around it and fit it all into a nice, convenient pattern and box it away. It was always unpredictable. It was always a journey.

I feel like it leaves JUUUUUUUUST enough open for you to still come away with different nuances to your interpretation of things to some degree. Great, great show for sure.

Changing the actress for the mom from season 3 to 4 really annoyed me, though.

Having taken such a long break from the series, I thought the mom looked different, but I didn't know how, so I just attributed it to better mental health. At least the two actresses looked somewhat similar.

We watched S3-S4 with no wait in between, so it was an extremely noticeable change, haha. I think that it would have worked better had we watched it as it was airing, she did a good job at imitating the personality and vocal timbre, all things told.
