It looks pretty cool. I'll check it out someday, the fact that I'm in Japan and movies here are way too expensive is kind of a problem. |

If you ever go, one thing you might notice is people tend to stay all the way through the credits in DEAD SILENCE. Respectful, I guess, but also very uncomfortable for an American. On-topic, though, Super 8 is super great. I don't want to spoil anything, but my gripes are minor while my praises are many. A very fun, very effective summer film. |

Honestly, I haven't been much of a movie goer this summer. I managed to miss this one and didn't even know it existed until I came into this thread a couple of days ago. I've read the premise and it seems interesting. I'll check it out. |

I saw it on Friday and I enjoyed it. The kids were pretty good actors, usually I HATE children in movies. And the explosions were pretty. |
