What movies have you watched recently?
I must say, On the Waterfront is a fantastic film, except for the score which felt forced in a few places.

Today, I watched a Japanese film 害虫 (Harmful Insect). I really liked it. It's rather bleak, but I think it was well done and it inspired me to start writing a song today.

Recently watch Pulp Fiction. I know its fucking really late in the game but I was put off from it because I really hate Quinten Tarentino. He can make some good films but the guy is a real fucking douchebag. Anyways, the movie is pretty funny.

Re: What movies have you watched recently?
I found it interesting. I didn't really know much about the Cambodian civil war/genocide, so it made me want to do some research after watching the movie. The movie shows the events from the perspective of two friends: an American reporter and a Cambodian translator.
I saw it on tv, and after the commercials there would be a warning about "graphic content," but it wasn't too bad. There were a few scenes that will stick with me for a while, though.
The people you follow are real people, which I feel makes the movie more powerful.
The movie has my recommendation.
re-watched The Sixth Sense, which... isn't as good the second time... for some reason.
Maybe the reason is that the "what a twist" ending is what makes the movie seem good that first time. I feel like after you know said twist, it's probably pretty dull. That's just my theory.

Re: What movies have you watched recently?
If you like looking at symbolism in films, then rewatching the Sixth Sense is worth it...if not, then it's not nearly as good the second time. Kinda like my experience with The Dark Knight.

Re: What movies have you watched recently?
Try watching Memento again. It makes a lot more sense and has a few things you might have looked over the first time but after that its just not good anymore. Some movies are just meant to be watched once and some more than others.
Thank you for smoking is really good by the way. Has my recommendation.
