 Holiday Movies 2010
So there's usually some blockbuster type films released around Christmas to catch the holiday vacation folks, but I'm not seeing much of interest. There's Tron, but that looks retarded to me. True Grit looks promising, but that's hardly comparable to past years' Christmas flicks such as King Kong and the LOTR films.
Anybody excited for anything?

 Re: Holiday Movies 2010
True Grit seems interesting, I'm not paying much attention to movies lately, though.

 Re: Holiday Movies 2010
I'm looking forward to Tron somewhat, even though I barely remember the first movie. I'm also interested in 'True Grit'. I'll probably go see the next Narnia movie, but I'm not super excited about it. In conclusion... nothing particularly exciting.
It's hard to get bigger than HP.

I'm bigger than HP when I'm hard, theory disproved.
I haven't heard of any holiday movies that spark my interest.

Well, that's a Metal comment if I ever saw one.

Hey, at least my post also had on-topic content, Greysontan. Seriously though, I feel like most holiday release movies tend to suck, unless I'm just misremembering. Especially the ones that are actually themed around Christmas.

 Re: Holiday Movies 2010
Well, NOW it does. Also, just looked at True Grit, that does indeed look like it could be really awesome, I remember seeing a trailer for this now.

 Re: Holiday Movies 2010
I guess I'm alone in this, but Tron looks fucking killer. My group of friends and I have already bought tickets for the midnight premiere in my town (day before my graduation AW YEAH).
True Grit looks pretty good, as in I won't have any impulse to see it myself, but I won't put up a fight if some friends want to see it with me.
And although the advertising team apparently woke up from some sort of coma to find that their movie was coming out in a week, Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader looks like all the others - enjoyable enough. Put that in the same category as True Grit for me.

I'm excited for it, and so are pretty much all of my close friends. Possibly it's because of the sheer nerd factor, but hell, the trailer still looked fucking awesome, regardless of the film's genre. Also, Daft Punk is doing the soundtrack.
