Midnight showing, oh yeah. Hardly anyone was dressed up though.

Anyway, it was great, other than the awkward dance scene. I mean, I get it, I do, but it just didn't have the correct effect on the audience.

So I'm guessing you were dressed up?

Did anyone else see Emma Watson's hair at the premier? :dizzy:

She's had that cut for quite some time. Totally understandable - the last decade of her life, Emma Watson = Hermione Granger. She needed to break away from the character for sanity's sake, probably. And for not forever being labeled as "Hermione" in her acting career.

I think that once you hit puberty Hermione Granger becomes Emma Watson, not vice versa.

It was a great showing, I had fun at the midnight showing and yes there weren't a lot of people dressed up but thats a good thing. I did see however every single person either with Harry's scar or that Deathly Hallows sign on their forehead. It was really accurate with the book also, almost dead accurate. More so than any of the other films.

Don't you know, I wear my Gryffindor colors wherever I go.

Forgot to mention, the animation bit was pretty awesome by the way.

It was good, but not as good as 5 or 6. Part II will be great though.

When is the next film due out? I wonder if anyone would be able to tell the difference if I just wore my doctoral gown.

It was a lot better than what I was expecting.
Emma Watson has gotten hot.

You're just noticing these? Dude, she was starting to look pretty fine back when Azkaban came out. Goblet of Fire sealed the deal.

Started noticing when I saw pics of the premiere.

So over the course of the last week I watched all the previous films for the first time, and saw the last one tonight.

The final battle seemed like thoroughly insufficient payoff, but then I feel the entire ending's full effect was lost on me since I never read the books growing up.

All in all, it was pretty fun.

Yeah I was pretty confused to find Crabbe had transformed into a mature young black adult
