Looks stupid. Not sure why everyone seems so excited about it.

 Re: Inception
whats stupid about it? The effects look fantastic and the premise seems pretty interesting to me. Christopher Nolan did a pretty good job on the Batman series, I doubt he'll completely bomb this one. I also happen to like Dicaprio and Gordon-Levitt.

 Re: Inception
Looks pretty decent to me, although watching the trailer reminds me a great deal of Shutter Island. Like seriously, the music is almost exactly the same.

 Re: Inception
Mostly the premise. It's just plain silly. Seems like a mere vehicle for cool effects, not that there's anything wrong with that.

Sheer, you are the messiah of this forum. May you lead it until the end of its time.
But yeah, I'm looking forward to this movie. Christopher Nolan has never disappointed me.

The director also directed the newer Batman films, Memento, and Insomnia, all of which are great films.
I definitely intend to see it.

 Re: Inception
It was all right. The gravity-less scenes were fun. Toward the end things started to get a little muddled - yeah I get that it's all dreams, but I started to lose track of how what they were doing was relevant to their goal. >.>
Also, plenty of Ellen Page for you fanboys.

 Re: Inception
If you're talking overall, maybe, but I don't think so if you ignore Revolutions and certain parts of the Animatrix.
I hope they never try to explain anything in Inception further, because that will ruin it too.

 Re: Inception
SPOILERS (not really, but if you're really anal about knowing ANYTHING about a film before you see it, try to skip this)
also, i don't know about anyone else, but a movie that is not only enjoyable upon the first watch, but also encourages: 1) multiple views in order to get a better understanding of whats going on. 2) discussion about the meaning of the events that happen in the movie, as well as debating unanswered questions pertaining to the plot and characters in said film. Unfortunately for people who prefer their movies to have complete closure, the exact meaning of the events in Inception aren't handed to you on a silver platter, it definitely requires some digging and a bit of thinking to come to your own conclusions about the film. I'm tempted to go see it again because a few friends and I can't stop talking about it, that's what makes a great film to me.
I should probably say that its the best movie centered around simulated reality since The Matrix, since this movie was just released and The Matrix has been widely recognized as a hugely influential success. I enjoyed Inception more upon my first watch. And yeah, the The Matrix sequels did ruin the entire series, but it's a bit hard to ignore it since the sequels are a direct progression of the story and not just spinoffs or reboots of the first movie. So yeah, they count.
