Post Balls Of Fury
Thoughts?

I'm hoping for the best, but it already looks like it's gonna have some stupid shit holding it down.

Cons thus far:

1. PROTAGONIST USES AN ILLEGAL SERVE IN THE TRAILER. >:[ You can't throw the ball into your paddle, it has to be a toss, straight up.

2. Homosexual German/Netherlands/Basically anywhere in Europe stereotype guy. Not funny, never has been. Seriously, who laughs at these characters? Talladega Nights was a horrible failure without even including the antagonist, and no matter how much you like Sacha Baron Cohen, that character was dead-in-the-water unfunny. Uncomfortable /=/ funny.

Pros:

1. Christopher Walken.

2. It's a movie about "illegal underground table tennis."

3. Intense sports movie faceoff scenes, hopefully plenty of them.

Talladega Nights: SHIT.
Blades of Glory: SHIT.
Balls of Fury: SHIT.

To me, it looks like it fits into the same category.
Also, the director was a writer for Herbie: Fully Loaded, The Pacifier (Vin Diesel, remember?), Night at the Museum, and the Reno 911 movie.

My advice: Don't waste your money.

;_;

Wow, Vin Diesel. The only movie he was involved with that I enjoyed was The Iron Giant.

"I am not a gun."

Vin Diesel was/is overhyped, but one thing I don't get is a lot of people's fixation on his sexual preference (before he allegedly came out of the closet. Is that true, anyway?). I heard a lot of shit: "Vin Diesel's gay." But to me it just seemed like everyone wanted him to be gay so that way they could be comfortable knowing that one day a big, burly Vin Diesel could stick it in their poopers.

What's my point? People who fixate on that shit are gay.

Also: I like your avatar, Crowdy.

The premise is hilarious, but I'm not going to count on it being too good.

I assume it's going to be very similar to Dodgeball in that you're not supposed to take it seriously, and that there's going to be a lot of /hit with shit/ low-brow humor.

Just your run-of-the-mill teen flick.

Which reminds me, I wanna see Superbad 8)

Not true. It's actually a joke with his D'n'D friends. My friend explained it to me better, so I'll ask him the whole story next time.

But yeah, this could be funny; but I'll wait for the DVD 2 months later.

Protip: this movie is either a ripoff or a nod at the Japanese movie Ping-Pong.
