people will probably bitch about the weak story line. But the action WAS amazing. and thats what you should go see it for. The action and the awesome Transformers attitudes.

If anyone went there for the storyline, they are probably an idiot.

I was actually impressed with how the Transformers were portrayed. The film sure had a bunch of awkward moments.

robots fighting = cool
blatantly unrealistic portrayal of computer technology and hacking = lame
bumblebee = <3

overall not so great movie, but great entertainment.

Bumble bee is the man, hands down. Had more personality than all the autobots and deceptacons put together. 8)

I saw it the other night. It was kick-ass  Finally, a live-action recreation of an animated classic/cult favorite that actually delivers and satisfies. I just saw that Camero and immediately thought, oh, fuck yeah! Bumblebee bitches! Though, they should have kept him a VW bug...

The only bad part of the movie was the obvious anti-government crap AKA "propaganda" that they had in there...
1 The government is hiring high-school hackers to work for them? Why? Because they don't have good enough ones already? Though, it kinda is a comic book-type thing to do, giving the kids the power and such, fight the man... whatever...
2 They get attacked in Qatar and automatically assume it's the Koreans or someone and start gathering arms for battle... bullcrap, we wouldn't really do that...
3 That section 7 guy was obviously a stupid idiot intended for comic relief, just like a lot of other movies have done, especially for younger audiences... But was it necessary for him to be a key government character?
4 Not listening to that girl when she had an idea.
5 The comment at the end, after some credits, "If there was anything threatening our safety here, then our government would let us know, right?" or something like that... just stupid sarcastic remarks and ridiculous jabs at our government...
just stupid stuff like that bothered me, but otherwise the action was sweet and I liked the story. Also, the Indian guy who was patching the international call part was hilarious.

Oh yeah, and only one autobot died, and it was Jazz, who happened to break dance, speak like a "stereotypical pop-cultured black man" for a lack of a better phrase. Basically, he was black, and he died. lol, wtf is up with that?

i was a fan of the cartoon and the cartoon movie, and the new movie sucked. The action was cool, but there wasn't nearly enough as there should have been. The kid killed megatron at the end, which was lame. And it seemed like it was aimed at black people. die hard 4 was way better

:suspicious: "oh, um gee... I'm gunna be stupid for a second and make a sarcastic remark about my own government because I think Bush is just a nazi and he likes killing... Yay ridiculous liberalism." Is that what you meant to say?

The media feeds off of this war for profitable reasons, basically to the point where mocking your own country becomes commonplace because it's so popular... It starts with a few verbal slip-ups, then everybody's a freaking genius all of a sudden

No. What I am saying is we were attacked by Al Qaeda, people were led to believe that Iraqi's caused the attacks on 9/11, and we went into a country knowing nothing about it i.e. gathering arms for battle. So the whole "bullcrap we wouldn't really do that" thing was generally funny because it's so naive.

And the :| that followed it represents my disgust that I found humor in your idealistic view of the world, because that whole "we wouldn't do that mentality" thing is what America "stands for" and stuff.

It was all just the irony.
