Yeah, I saw an exclusive preview on Spike TV, and this dude is in a house with his family.

BAM!

Outta nowhere, zombies.

He runs into another room with wife and child.

BAM!!

More zombies.

The guy hesitates waiting for his wife and kid or whomever to follow him into another room.

IT'S TOO LATE! ZOMBIE!

He hesitates, thinking about the safety of his wife and child or whoever they are, but he knows they're goners so he closes the door, locks it, and goes out of the window onto the roof ledge.

He hops down.

WHOA SHIT! At least fifteen zombies outside only feet away!

He runs.

WHOA GOD, THEY'RE RUNNERS ! HE'S DOOMED!  THERE'S NO WAY TO OUTRUN THE RUNNING ZOMBIES!!!! zOH NOES!

He runs!

Runs moar!

Runs towards a little dock thingy and there seems to be someone on a boat waiting for him!

YES!!!

It looks like he can make it, only a few more yards to go~!!

End preview.

To be fair, previews are usually shitty like that. A minute or two of a film taken out of context so there's no lead-in and cut so it's designed to have a cliffhanger ending.

Some previews are just this: add one overdramatic orchestral score and a bunch of cutscenes, including one ending cutscenes.

"I hate ladders"
"Climb that ladder and save the kitten!"
*short gasps of breath*
DUN DUN DAH DAH DUN DUN

*A tsunami comes forward comes closer to the screen*

DUNNN

*Whoosh sounds*

And the title of the movie shows.

I saw the first one in theaters and it scared the pants off of me. It's basically the reason why I don't see horror flicks in theaters. I might have to man up and go to this one though.

28 Days Later was more like Dawn of the Dead with slightly more story and blunt objects.
I liked the DVD cover. I pictured end of the world just happened and one person lived and doesn't know exactly what happened unless he can retrace his steps or some shit, but it was nothing more than a zombie flick.
It was still fun and gory, and thought a little bit what good would a movie be with just one actor wandering around the place ,confused, no exact destination, just stands there all day trying to remember what happened, would've been boring and confusing unless they can execute that really well somehow?

Anyway what is up with the part with the monkeys?
Can't wait till May 11th for the second movie.

Holy shit, I'm actually thinking about going to the theater to see this, even though I haven't seen the first movie.

They just showed a special on FX about the opening scene of the movie, and it's fucking sweet.

saw it, it's pretty good.

definitely a more 'hollywood' feel to it, it's certainly flashier.. but not enough to wreck it.

yep, pretty good.

also, spoilers: everyone dies. literally.

I finally saw it today, it was awesome. Nice camera work, compelling story, and awesome action. Unfortunately the music could have used some more work...

I've seen a lot of reviews where people've bitched about the camera angles. A lot.
