 Ichi the Killer.
I just watched it again for like the 5th time.
I first saw it on sundance in 2004.
It was amazing with all the blood and the torture.
I bought the dvd but it was Rated R..so it took off the tortures and people dieing in crazy ways.
That really ruined part of it.
Kakihara has got to be the most badass guy in the movie.
If your going to buy the dvd dont get the Rated R one..
Look for the Unrated one.
The blonde haired guy thats usually dressed in pimp clothes is Kakihara by the way.

i heard about it in some article about the top 10 or 20 grossest/most shocking movies. i was interested in it before, but after reading more about it, it sounds like it's a bit too extreme for me.

yeeeah....i looked it up on imdb, and had a pretty decent rating, but then realized (too late) that those who voted on it must have all been about 13- 17 years old or so thinking they were mature by the fact that they were able to "handle" the violence.
one good thing this movie had going for it, though, was kakihara's sense of style. Freakin sweet fashion, i must say.

Yeah,his style was admiring.
I hate young people who try to be mature and all tough saying they can handle this...they probably never even seen the movie.

I've always wanted to rent it....but if my mom found out what it was, she would have flipped a bitch. Like she did when I watched Suicide Club.
But yes. It looks really....gory...I don't think I would be able to handle it.
