Not excactly Lasseter's finest, but the Pixar quality is in there with (unfortunately) the Disney label smacked along with it.

Go see it. Pixar movies are something Disney can't even tap with their greedy hands and fool around with.

EDIT: Heard they're making a third Toy Story. Awesome.

I'm thinking more of the Toy story movie than this movie though.

i liked it. i didn't feel like it was as clever as some of their other movies, but i think it helps to be a little bit more knowledgeable about cars to get some of the in-jokes, which i am not.

but apparently it's true- NASCAR cars don't have headlights. D:

I don't trust Pixar after Shark Tales.

Pixar didn't make Shark Tales. It was Dreamworks who obviously ripped off Finding Nemo and relaced the main character with a nigra fish.

Shark Tales looks retarded. Over the Hedge looks retarded.

These Pixar 3-D animation movies just don't do it for me (except for Toy Story).

The reactions are almost always: "Oh, it was so cute! Yeah, I had a good nice time. It was kinda funny. Good animation! I loved Owen Wilson/xxxxxx star doing the voices."

Well yeah, I know it's supposed to be family fair. But really, why can't these things have any depth?

Look at Cars, Monsters Inc, Pocahontas, Finding Nemo, The Incredibles and....say....Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle, Voices of a Distant Star, The End of Evangelion, Grave of the Fireflies, Castle In the Sky, and Nausicaa.

I'm not saying that the whole purpose of Japanese animation is to be compared to mainstream American fare, but...I can't honestly think of an American animated film that I've wanted to reflect upon for more than 10 seconds.

It's unfortunate that in America, animation isn't fully realized as a medium completely comparable to film.

I really can't stand all these CG pixar-style movies. I won't be seeing this movie if I can avoid it.

Really? I thought that it was Pixar...oh well. That explains the sudden horrible addition to the otherwise good roster of movies.
