i just picked up the second season of the adventures of pete and pete and it makes me a happy person.
this show, combined with the wayside school book series, shaped me as the person i am today. they both gave me my unique, absurd sense of humor, and pete and pete also instilled morals in me.

i recommend this to all of you.

Artie! The strongest man in the world!!!

If it wasn't for this show, then great college indie flicks wouldn't exist!

i didn't get to see pete and pete growing up, but i saw them recently, even at my age, i think they're great. the saddest one was when arnie went away.
i know they just did the first season on dvd last year, i seriously hope they do the rest of them.
the last time i saw pete, he was the red headed delivery guy in "40 days, 40 nights" the one with that guy from pearl harbor not having sex for whatever reason.
but yeah, that was probably one of the more important shows of the 90's.

well, i mentioned in my post that i picked up the second season. so that's out. and there were only 3 seasons, so they only have one to go. that'll probably get released before the middle of next year.

Keh heh. I don't have the DVD's, but I have all of the episodes on tape from when they were still running. I too have clothes of a 60/40 cotton/titanium blend, and agree with you busters. Probably my second favorite show that isn't too serious, right next to Monty Python's Flying Circus.

Cancelling shows like that one and Ren & Stimpy are probably why cable television is now pretty much obsolete.

actually, Ren & Stimpy should have been cancelled after the second season. that's when it started to suck. nick fired Spumco (the creators of the show) and started making it themselves. they started to suck then.

first two seasons were great though.
