Fair enough, but the creators of the show are anything but cynical. The writing is what drives the show home for me. Each character is fleshed out and personable, and character development is a [i]thing[/i]. I understand that some franchises exist just to sell shit to people at the mall, but there is a reason that Adventure Time is so highly regarded.

Adventure is alright. But it annoys me more than it entertains me. But there is for sure some gold in there.

Anyways, is anyone watching the Walking Dead? The last episode caused me to a little bit.

So retracting my previous statement in the movie thread, I watched one of Sarah Silverman's specials. It was good, but there were still some parts that rubbed me the wrong way.
Also, anyone watch Home Movies? Shit is cash.

Man, I love home movies.
I just got done watching the whole series on netflix a few days ago.

I hate how in the ending they cut off so quickly from Brandon dropping his camera to the ending credits.

I really liked how near the end of every season the kids would 'doubt' themselves. As if 'should we keep doing this? Why are we doing this?"
and things like that.
For whatever reason I can see a more metaphorical meaning than what it should be.

Breaking Bad. Can't believe I wasn't on that bandwagon earlier.

I don't usually play games for hours.
Reading? I do it when I can and when I have time.

I guess I was never the type of person to sit on my ass for long hours watching a tv show.
I tend to watch tv and watch an episode (30minutes) and just stop after the first one.

What I'm trying to say is that breaking bad is a one hour long show.
Plus there are a lot of episodes. So watching seasons would take me al ong time
While watching a 30 minute episode really isn't that big of a deal.

Which is why I don't like watching movies either.

I have to either WANT to watch the movie, or it has to catch my interest.

I can't even remind myself what the last movie i saw was.
That's how long it's been.

The show is OKAY. Just that the main premise tends to get old real fast.

If you'd take your pills in the morning you'd have no problem focusing your brain on something for more than twenty minutes at a time.

I keep watching 'Once Upon a Time' with my friends. It was a great concept to begin with and some of the characters are good but some of them are like... wtf? YOU'RE NOT EVEN A FAIRY TALE CHARACTER. Plus the 'true love always wins' crap is *yawn*. I think we're just too lazy to find something else until Game of Thrones starts again, and we can't watch something like the Walking Dead together since one friend doesn't like that kind of stuff.
