I have to agree here folks. I hate anime.
Anime is just ultimately writhing with cliches. Very irritating ones that aren't the least bit entertaining. The cliches of anime in particular just piss me off to no end, and in reality I have specific reasons for hating each of the many that I've watched. Even the ones that supposedly break new ground in the anime world eventually revert back to those same retarded cliches sooner or later.
Sorry. That is just how I feel.
There are very few that are good, i.e. my avatar.
I still watch though....

anime is best in japanese. they ruin things when doing the english voicing, because they have to try and paraphrase more to match the mouth movements somewhat. subtitles work way better. and knifin?
watch azumanga daiou. if you don't laugh, you have problems.

Japanese Anime is great... I really liked the anime in Kill Bill. It was gritty and new, alas it only seems that Americans found this entertaining and jumped it like a foreign country with weapons. Everything in Japan now is...the same, I really don't want to repeat myself.
Also, Azumanga Daioh was awesome....when it was new. It's not new anymore.

??? just because something isn't new doesn't mean it still rocks. i still get a kick out of yukari's insanities. and kimura-sensei. lol, he's such a friggin' hentai.
some of the best things are the older animes. so how does not being new make something worse?

Saying you hate anime is like saying you hate animation in general. If that's the case, fine. Otherwise, don't generalize an entire media based on the pigshit cookie-cutter series you see.

The only good cartoon is family guy. and if south park qualifies as animation, that too.
But all the anime i've ever seen is so stupid. it's not funny. the music blows (the scored ones, not bands or whatever, but i'm sure a lot of them suck.). it's so annoying when they try to make it funny and it's not and it reminds me of little kids doing things that i hate.
