seriously, s-CRY-ed has put me to sleep every time i've watched it. i try to get interested in it, but it's just too hard. i admit paranoia agent is much better
yeah i fell asleep on the first 2 episodes so i dont watch it cause i dont wanna get lost
If it wasn't for Lara Jill Miller's soft, sultry VA talent, I probably wouldn't have given s-CRY-ed a chance. It's nice to have something mindless to watch after PA.
Sadly though, AS has done. Starting this Saturday all the shows in the action block will be pushed back to fit in Futurama. This was due to "low ratings" for the past two weeks and our punishment is to endure an overplayed comedy show. Awesome, but overplayed.

Indeed...like who hasn't seen Futurama. I say they need to bring out more Anime, like Crono Crusade instead of putting FLCL on there, that too, I mean FLCL is cool. But I don't see why they put a show on there forever when it's only 6 eps. I think we should tell Adult Swim to put new shows on.
Whatever happen to Fullmetal Alchemist on saturdays I want to see the new ep. But, it is pretty cool to see the missing ones I haven't seen during the week.

hell, i'm glad FLCL is back on! it should be on more often, but it's onyl 6 episodes. that's why they've been showing it about every 6 months or so because of the fact it's so popular.
but your idea about chrono crusade, that would be awesome. that anime seriously kicks ass and should be included on adult swim. i wouldn't mind seeing cromartie high school. that anime is so friggin hilarious!
and about FMA, CN decided to split it into two seasons halfway through the series. there's 26 episoes left, but funi has only dubbed up to about episode 40 at this point in time. hopefully it'll be back on before the year ends. but hell, i can always just download it

A little question for all of you PA fans:
Do you know if there's more stuff by Susumu Hirasawa in its soundtrack, other than the (rather awesome, by the way) opening song?

You mean the officail OST for PA? Mostly ambient/instrumental tracks he composed, but there is another vocal track included that wasn't released in the org. JPN release.
You can listen to a few smaple tracks at http://www.geneonanimemusic.com/. Just look under April '05.
Yeah, that was a rather ... odd opening, the way they were laughing at me. I was doing 0_o; the whole time. I also love how the crazy chick resembles Osaka.

Grandfatherly Wind, it's the last track(20).
Another halarious, quirky, high school anime to add; School Rumble. Bittorrent ...like, right now.

I just watched Grave of the Fireflies. Quite possibly the most depressing film I've ever seen. Not one 'feel-good' moment throughout the whole thing. It is one tragedy after another. However, it was also a wonderful film, just very difficult to watch. I'm still sad.

There was that one bath scene that was nice and peaceful. For a split second.

i disagree, there were a lot of cute moments in it. which made the ending a whole lot sadder.

It reminded a lot of Life is Beatiful with Roberto Benigni. Not matter what crap situation was thrown at them, they just had to make the best of things while humoring the kid. Seems sad in the end at first, but then you realise all was not naught.
I watched Akira after Fireflies(both for the first time) and thought, why can't more stuff be like this? Especially these times.
