Watched Everything Must Go the other night. It wasn't bad, and Will Ferrell was great, but I didn't enjoy it nearly as much as I hoped I would. The plot felt too weak, and it felt as though it was stretched a bit thin, IMO. I guess that's what happens when you turn a short story into a 90-minute film.
Yeah I could say the same thing. I was hoping it would have been more of a comedy than a depressing story of an alcoholic.

Watched Blade Runner for the first time tonight. I know I'll probably be in the minority, but dayum did it suck. It was a pretty big let-down.

I should really watch it again before making a final judgement, but I'm inclined to agree, it really seems over rated.

I watched confessions the other night.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vnws8ZymxME

It was pretty amazing. Honestly, from looking at the trailer. All I got was that the movie was going to be a 'Figure out who the culprit is' type of scenario. It was nothing like that. I really enjoyed the movie. :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

Rewatched Game of Death last night. Bruce Lee was such a badass. Awesome movie.

Went on a Marvel movie binge last night; watched Thor, Captain America and X-men: First Class. None were great, but they were all entertaining. I think X-men was the most enjoyable of the three, despite its cheesiness in parts.

What did you think of Trollhunter?

Trollhunter was a pretty nifty film. How'd you like it?

I enjoyed it a lot. Effective execution and devoid of the overt sentimentality that plagues a lot of Hollywood films.

Immortals. Somewhat stupid, but it sure looks pretty and there's lots of stabbing and stuff.

If I see one more film based on Greek mythology where the characters blab about going down in history though...

Saw the new Twilight movie after watching J. Edgar.

I have to say, I enjoyed Twilight more than J. Edgar cause that shit was too damn funny!
J. Edgar was very good, I thought it was an interesting fictitious tale of Hoover. It was also really cute that he and his right
hand man were somewhat gay for each other. I smiled every time they were holding hands or giving that "I care for you deeply" look. No homo.

Finally watched The Big Lebowski. I liked it, but I sometimes found Jeff Bridges and John Goodman's characters to be somewhat annoying rather than funny.

Goodman is the best in that movie. Cracks me up like few other characters can.
