i remember seeing sailor moon and dragon ball z and other such shows...wait, i still watch anime! just not as much.
never seen beck. flcl was good, but i might end up hating it if people don't stop trying to make it cooler than it is.

you're not missing as much as some people would say. it's pretty funny, but there's much better stuff out there.

the best part about flcl is the animation/character designs (its a damn pretty show to watch) and of course: the sound track. other than that.. its decent. put on a pillows cd and watch FLCL muted. for eye-candy.

some of it was humorous. i lolled all over the place on the manga parts. the manga flcl is better than the anime flcl. but it's not as nice to look at, and the storyline is even more confusing. combined, however, they explain each other.

dude... the whole gun in naota's head metaphor in episode five...
i think the show is bordering on genius, and the way it's portrayed makes people gloss over the subtler, more intelligent aspects of the show.
