Twin Peaks. One of the best shows ever. Wish I could get TV amnesia just so I can rewatch it again and relive its magnificence.

Let's see... Bleach (even though it's kinda poop), NCIS, Deadliest catch, american pickers, american chopper, pawn stars, american restoration, and storage wars... The more I watch the "reality" shows on discovery and history the more fake and setup they feel though, except for Deadliest Catch anyway... I watch pawn stars and storage wars mainly to laugh at how fake they are, but american restoration and american pickers are actually interesting to me...

I just watched the first two seasons of The Sopranos. It's good, definitely been overhyped though. Maybe it picks up a bit more in the later seasons.

I've been watching The Wonder Years like a die hard fan recently. Almost done with the 6th season. ^_^

That's something I've wanted to take a stab at watching since I've gotten more mature. It was somewhat interesting as a kid, but I thought there was too much talking in it back then.

I've been watching House.

It's on its last episode this coming Tuesday.

The ending is sad. I find it rather weird about the relationship house and his 'best friend' have.
It's so...weird. TELL ME YOU LOVE ME HOUSE!

lolwat?

But It's rather sad to see a great show ending. Or at least an entertaining show ending

I just finished the Sopranos.

Dat ending.

I can't believe it wasn't spoiled for me.

EDIT: Oh yeah, just started The Wonder Years.

Its great around the beginning and in the middle. Its so strange seeing them grown after watching them as children. The narration is amazing, Fred Savage does a great job connecting to the narration. I was bummed when I finished the series. :(

I'm almost finished with the first season (6 episodes, lol,) and it is really, really good. I remembered seeing the fourth episode as a kid, but I definitely didn't appreciate it as much back then as I can now.

I'm quite surprised at how well the show actually portrays its characters...they all feel authentic and real (with the exception of the oldest daughter, but she's a hippy and it's not like I connect with or know any hippies IRL.) And it really feels like each episode is a condensed slice of life.

So far, I give it a 9/10.

That is exactly what I got out of it. I remember being a kid and really enjoying the show but never really understanding the narration. Every episode has a key lesson to be learned in life, and even Boy Meets World used the same style for another Savage.

I'm on Season 3 of The Wonder Years. While it's not "bad" or anything, it just doesn't have the same "oomph" as the first season, but it's still really good. I'll give the series 8.5/10 so far. A really good detox from the morons I see on reality tv...commercials. (Seriously, fuck reality TV if it's not Gordon Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares/Restaurant Impossible/Undercover Boss.)

Some episodes of The Wonder Years are pretty sad though, actually. The one with Kevin and the piano or the one with him square-dancing for instance. I expected them to have a happy endings, but while they kind of sucked...it was true and it really made it hit home in its own kind of way.

I also started watching Gundam Wing in Japanese. Umm, wow. I don't know what to say really, the Japanese and the American VA's Heero are waaay different. In some ways, I think I prefer the English dub; however, I feel like the Japanese version makes Heero seem more like the confused teenager he really is instead of the major bad-ass he seems in the English version. In either case, the score is fantastic and sets the mood really well.

I expected happy endings to those episodes too, but life isn't always like that and that is what Wonder Years really does great at reflecting. Not sure if you got to the episode with the chemistry girl getting blown off by Kevin at the school dance. But that too is sad but the narration was brilliant.

I really want to watch Gundam Wing again, I remember thinking back as a kid that it was the most badass show on the planet. :shred:
