Despite Cesar bringing some real negative energy to the forum before he left, I gotta give thanks. Dude introduced me to a lot of good music that I'm still jamming to this day. Most notably Number Girl, Zazen Bo, and Sambomaster.... And yeah. That was a fucking long time ago. Like when Good Dreams was the new album on the block. On Soulseek. Lord.

He actually gave me all that music on SS, I just remembered. Not to mention GO!GO!7188 and all those other random bands like Win a Sheep Free... He was I guess kind of a dick on the boards but a really cool guy off of them.

What I mean is that the audible and visual elements of speech (tone and body language), which are among the most important aspects of accurate communication, do not exist in the written format (duh), and thus people will read whatever they expect to be the meaning without considering other aspects a lot of the time (though you can use some things, like your understanding of a poster thus far, to sort of guess at intent and whatnot). Really, the fact that it's ME saying what I did should have made you understand exactly what I meant, but since you weren't sitting there in person with me hearing me say it, I can forgive you for being bad at internets, I suppose.
