We watched that in my Vietnamese class in high school after watching this Vietnamese movie called Journey from the Fall. I nearly had a fucking panic attack watching that (the Killing Fields) movie, lol. The part where he's in the actual killing fields made me start feeling really fucking weird and I was having a hard time controlling my breathing. April (the month that Saigon fell) was the most depressing month of Vietnamese class I ever took.

Re: What movies have you watched recently? I just saw Rango and Limitless this weekend. Rango was pretty good, but Limitless stole the show for the day. It was very compelling and satisfying.

If you haven't seen the original, do eeeet. It's a remake of [url=http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0338564/]Infernal Affairs[/url]. The American version Hollywood'ed up the ending.
I want to see [i]Sucker Punch[/i]. I know it will be terrible, but I can still ooh and aah at the ridiculous action scenes. Last movies I saw were [i]Paul[/i] and [i]Rango[/i]. Both were pretty good.

OH GOD. I remember that popping up on the recommended list on a friend's NetFlix account (God knows why), and we started watching it (again, God knows why). I think we made it through about a third of the film before we'd had enough. Worst movie ever.
I saw Blade Runner for the first time last Friday. It was pretty epic. Also saw The Orphanage that same night, which I thought was very well-done.

Re: What movies have you watched recently? The last guy who lived in my apartment left behind some DVDs. I watched Hancock, which was rather enjoyable. Reign of Fire, on the other hand, was stupid.
