Pretty good movie. One of the few movies I've seen in the theater recently that seemed "worth it", if I actually cared anything about spending on movies based on that criteria alone.

Most movies I go to see are comedies, and I go see them with loads of friends. So it's usually more about "going to the movies with friends" as opposed to, "making sure I get my $10 worth" whenever I go. It's only really bad if the movie isn't good at all in any way... which doesn't happen. At least in comedies we can all laugh together. That makes it worth it alone.

Inception is a movie that I decided to go see based of off what I've heard, but I still went with two friends.

If your group of friends wanted to go see Twilight, would you waste your ten bucks on that shit?

I rest my case (though obviously being drunk or high might make it worth it, MAYBE).

The "worst" movies my friends and I have gone to see are probably movies like [i]Dragonball: Evolution[/i] and [i]The Last Airbender[/i]. Yeah, the movies were shit terrible, but the hilarity of seeing such horrible work in a large group surpassed the greatness of seeing a solid film by far.

I guess I just feel like if you're going to watch something crappy for the luls, just download and delete or maybe redbox/netflix it if piracy isn't for you.

Anyways...I might go see Inception Saturday.

There's something about seeing a shit-terrible movie in a theater that can't be reproduced while watching it on DVD/download/watching it through the neighbor's window. Of course, with friends. In the theater, not only do you have your friends to laugh at it, but sometimes the entire audience in the crowd joins in on the fun, and it's just the best thing ever... the DB and LAB movies have some priceless memories of straight up joy just because of how bad they were, coupled with how people in the audience reacted to it.

I didn't say that downloading/renting means you're watching it by yourself, lol.

What I meant is that downloading it and watching it with friends isn't the same as watching with friends/audience in the theater.

I suppose that's true, but if you're going specifically to mock the movie, it's just polite to do it in your own space, even if the people that get annoyed by it are enjoying a terrible, terrible movie. Common courtesy ftw, etc.

That's true. When we went to the Dragon Ball movie just about everyone in there was just there to LOL, but when we went to the Airbender (we went to the midnight premiere to make things worse), there was actually a legitimate crowd there to "see" the movie. We still lol'd at 85% of the film, haha.
