regardless of how she acted in the rest of the movie (which wasn't all that great IMO), the way she acted with the eye monster made me so angry with her. she was so stupid.

haha, yeah. but that's standard fare with fairy tales. EVERY TIME they're told not to eat anything, they break that rule.

i was annoyed as well if only because it seemed out of character, since she was otherwise eager to do as told to attain her goal. of course the scene would have been less interesting if she had obeyed...

was that scene immediately after she had been denied dinner? because it would make more sense then.
Spoiler discussion:

i think in her dying moments she created a fantasy world to explain all the bad shit that was happening to her.
this isnt slaughterhouse five. there's no other way to explain her getting out of the locked/guarded room. she's just pro.

The director put the chalk thing in because he supports that interpretation, but, of course, I interpret it the other way. It makes so much more sense, and the theme becomes much clearer if you think of it that way.

I work at a movie theatre, but we only play crappy, shallow, trendy movies that 13 year olds want to sneak into.

All the movies where I work suck. All ten of them. Except the Departed. We brought that back but I haven't worked this week... I wish Pan's Labyrinth was playing where I work... oh but Night At the Museum was good~ I saw that three times for free. lol
