I have yet to see a shred of evidence that suggests this movie will be anything better than a pile of steaming elephant shit.

Jackie Chan is one of the reasons why Ninja Assassin actually exists.

Saw this with a few friends.

Excessively gory(think 'everyone in the movie being a walking grenade of cherry kool aid' gory) stylized violence with a weak, shallow plot about the existence of ninjas. I just remember being annoyed by the sorry attempts at making this film any more than a brainless gorefest throughout, but there was a hot chick sitting next to me that I got to talk to so I guess there was an upside to seeing it. (Hilariously enough, 80% of the audience was Asian)

btw: Sung Kang wasn't on the screen for more than 5 minutes before he exploded in a giant splash of blood.

I admit a smart, cohesive plot isn't exactly a strong point for Jackie Chan movies, but comparing his innovative choreography with a movie that doesn't present anything new to the genre except exactly how much gore can be used in a martial arts film without the viewer vomiting on himself is a tad ridiculous.
