Was bullshit.
This movie pissed me off. First off, they changed Pansy Parkinson's actress? Wtf is up with that?! And what was with that slut at the beginning of the movie? Hitting on Harry Potter... who the hell does she think she is? Plus, no apparition lessons? Pfft. Also, they completely left out the fight at Hogwarts with the Death Eaters during the climax of the story.
I can't even tell if you're being serious or not, especially with your second point.

I hear ya, sheer.
Runtime: 153 min
Let's be clear: the directors/script-writers/etc for the HP movies have enormous challenges: Fitting these huge fucking tomes into two-hour, digestible, coherent movies. They're doing all they can. Have you noticed how much they're relying on the whole newspaper headline technique in order to push the plot along and fill holes in? There have been a TON of instances where those neat little animated newspaper headlines appear in the movies, since Prisoner of Azkaban. It seems like they're abusing the technique a little, but I don't think I can blame them.
If you really want the whole story with all the details, read the book again. Asking for comprehensiveness in a two hour movie is absurd. If they wanted to fill everyone in with all of the details, and every single plot point (even more significant ones that they may have left out), then it would be a total failure of a movie. It wouldn't be an enjoyable experience. I can't believe I even have to explain this.

Re: Half-Blood Prince
Movie 6 was bullshit for a different reason than the book being squeezed into a 120 page script so most of the book was left out. Movie 6 was bullshit because instead of emphasizing the start of the second war, they shifted the focus onto Dumbledor's death completely. That isn't supposed to matter as much until the 7th movie when all of his practices and life get called into question. I really enjoyed the movie until the very end. I mean come on, what the fuck was that? Bella kicks over some cups and burns Hagrid's house down? That was the dramatic battle scene at the school? It was the laziest script writing I have ever seen. The movie just lost all of it's flavor at the end. They didn't even show the funeral. What the fuck? I mean, they didn't even do the sappy ending fucking right. This was the easiest of the 6 books to make into a movie and they fucked it up beyond repair. At least G.I. Joe looks promising. Hot Asian dudes with swords. A storyline isn't even needed with that combination.

Re: Half-Blood Prince
I forgot to mention a couple things: lack of Nymphadora (though what we did get of her was hawt), and the whole scene with Bella and the other death eater (I have no idea who it was, probably Yaxley or someone) attacking the Burrow. Was that scene even in the book? I definitely don't remember Bella setting the Burrow on fire, but it has been a while since I've actually read the book. It just seemed like there was no point at all to this scene except to squeeze Nymphadora and Remus into the movie.
That being said, there were some parts of this movie that I really liked. Draco's actor, for example. Throughout the entire movie you can tell he is troubled and/or suffering from anxeity, and all of his scenes were really well done on his part. Emma Watson, still hot of course. Michael Gambon, another awesome actor. You can hear the sincerity in his voice when asks Severus for his help near the end of the movie, and it was just a great scene. Well, its a great scene until the dreadfully cheesy mass raising of the wands/vanquishing of the Dark Mark, anyways.

G.I. Joe was not pre-screened for critics. Just a warning. It will be incredibly shitty.

I don't understand how this movie looks promising at all.

GI Joe was corny, on an amazing level.
But I think being corny is the point of GI Joe. Pork chop sandwiches!

It was corny, but at least they got the legendary line in:
"AND REMEMBER KIDS KNOWING IS HALF THE BATTLE"
Well, not in its original form or context... but close enough to still be funny in-movie.

Re: Half-Blood Prince
I enjoyed watching it, but I didn't think it was a good movie. I understand they had a lot to cram in, but it didn't really turn out comprehensible. Admittedly, the title-related plot (the half blood prince) was probably the most meh anyway.
Plus, no hot Asian guy with sword.

See, they try to cram stuff in without explaining it, totally expanding the plot without giving it depth.

Um...the movies are almost exclusively geared towards people who have read the books before. Depth seems all but completely unnecessary. These aren't standalone works of art, now.
